Duck…Duck…Jerk Face

Location: Huntington Beach. Subject: birds.

This week has been a difficult week on a few levels. Rather than just go home and be stressed out, a friend and I thought it would be fun to take duck pictures for some odd reason. Instead of ducks I got mostly geese, and then eventually dinosaur, jerk geese. (More on that in a second.)

So without further ado, here are some photos of my nice bird neighbors from a nearby park. Click to enlarge.

For most of the time at the park, I was surrounded by these nice birds. They were generally respectful and kept their distance. More importantly, they were afraid of me. Towards the end of the visit, however, I tried to get nearer to the lake to take some sunset shots of birds swimming in the reflection. Before I knew it I was being charged by enormous, evil birds. They made terrible dinosaur sounds, and to make them more evil, they were able to spew mucus or something out of the nose structures on the top of their heads. The first photo is of them charging me. The second is one of them thinking about charging me. In the last photo I’m up on top of a park bench and dropping food on the table. Note the evil dinosaur bird teeth on their bills.

I hate them.
